Every memorable dining experience begins behind the scenes with our Culinary team’s commitment to safe, efficient operations and exceptional cuisine. As a Baker IV (Baker's Helper) , the care you devote to food and workspace preparation will result in the creation of truly spectacular fare. 

Hourly Rate: $25.95

What you will be doing:

• Prepare ingredients used by the bakeshop team
• Assembling bulk production items
• Assist bakers with garnishing, as needed
• Ensure overall cleanliness and maintenance of our bakeshop exceeds expectations
• Have full knowledge of all dessert and pastry menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Maintain a clean workstation and minimize waste
• Strive to advance his/her knowledge, skills and abilities and consistently share these with others
• Adhere to the State of Hawaii Dept of Health & EHC (Environmental Health Consultancy) food handling safety standards
• Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
• Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
• Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous baking experience, preferably in a similar high volume environment is an asset
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
• Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally
• Must be available for PM shifts including holidays and weekends

Licenses or Certificates

• TB Clearance
• Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification

All Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
