Salary: $18.00-$32.00 per hour
We are seeking an girls team coach for competitive gymnastics focused on the National Gymnastics Association (aka: Xcel levels) rules and policies with strong spotting/assistance experience. This is meant to be a full-time position, but may be a part-time opportunity and grow to full-time - what is your interest? You're going to love working here as we care about all the kids and our coaches in ways unique to the industry.
Purpose: The purpose of a Team coach is to meet the needs and growth of the girls NGA competitive gymnastics teams. This person must be prepared to take charge of a team group - leading students at levels assigned. General responsibilities will include NGA levels from Prep Team to Diamond levels. This position also requires teaching of other levels as assigned to fulfill a FT role.
Success is measured by each instructors ability to gain smiles and skills, building loyalty through active learning week after week, and measured progress of students to the next level. These coaches teach with the support and guidance of an entire team of other coaches led by the Head Coach who is in charge of setting the standards of instruction for the program.
CSC coaches also enthusiastically partner with their own site leadership and other coaches within our larger company to refine the customer experience - to the benefit of all students, parents, and each other.
Hours per week: This is a Full-time position (may be part-time as noted) afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays. Plus competition travel. The intent is to fill a full time role; however, part-time positions will also be considered.
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour. C ommensurate with the background and experience of the applicant. Additional pay is available for session based competitions and travel as well as private lesson income.
Qualifications: A b ackground in child related services or youth sports coaching. Former competitive gymnastics and coaching experience is required with specific level history pending the position. Must be a high energy, positive and supportive person who is excited about working with kids of all ages and levels all the time.
Training/Education: A condition of employment includes: CPR, First Aid certification and an active and current active Professional Membership with USA Gymnastics. A BS degree in Kinesiology, or child development focused degree, or the equivalent of either would be ideal, but is not required.
Skills: Excellent and proven communication and planning skills; leadership skills dealing with children; organizational skills, outgoing and energetic. A proven spotter on skills equal to the position assigned (L3-10)
