Job Title: Distribution Manager
Job Description

This position is for a Warehouse Manager on the first shift, working primarily in a freezer environment. The role requires proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift and experience with WMS/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee warehouse operations in a freezer environment.
  • Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize WMS/ERP systems to track inventory and manage warehouse distribution.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
  • Ensure effective inventory control and warehouse management practices.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift.
  • Experience with WMS/ERP systems.
  • 3-4 years of leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Forklift certification.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse distribution.

Work Environment

The position includes an office in a climate-controlled space, but also requires working in a -40 degree freezer environment at times. All necessary cold gear clothing will be provided to ensure your comfort and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
