Job Description

Job Description

A legendary hospitality brand in Miami is preparing for a major relaunch of its flagship restaurant and the expansion of its luxury events business. We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef with the vision, technical skill, and obsession with creativity and quality to help lead its next evolution.

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with the founder—someone deeply committed to craft and excellence—on a project where every detail matters. In this kitchen, nothing hits the plate unless it’s the best version of itself . If there’s an ice cream on the menu, it needs to be the best ice cream anyone has ever tasted.

About the Brand:

This respected name has shaped Miami’s hospitality scene for decades, blending culinary creativity with over-the-top presentation and immersive service. With the upcoming relaunch, the brand is doubling down on its reputation for delivering world-class experiences that are as refined as they are imaginative.

The Opportunity:

The Executive Pastry Chef will lead the charge in building a best-in-class pastry and dessert program for both the restaurant (200+ seats, private dining, bar/lounge) and an expanding roster of high-end offsite events. This is a role for a passionate craftsperson and an exacting leader—someone who is inspired by challenge, driven by detail, and obsessed with delivering pastry that stops people in their tracks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute a pastry program that reflects the brand’s ethos of uncompromising quality, bold creativity, and refined technique.
  • Produce plated desserts, breads, confections, and showpieces that surprise and delight—every time.
  • Collaborate with ownership and the Executive Chef to concept menus and signature moments, aligned with the brand’s theatrical and elevated style.
  • Hire, train, and lead a top-tier pastry team committed to precision and pride in their work.
  • Oversee pastry operations for in-house dining and offsite events, ensuring consistency and excellence at scale.
  • Manage inventory, sourcing, cost controls, and production systems to support high-volume service with zero compromise in quality.
  • Set and enforce the highest standards for cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.

About You:

  • You are obsessed with flavor, detail, and perfection. You don’t cut corners. You taste everything .
  • Background in acclaimed restaurants or hospitality programs where excellence is the baseline; Michelin experience is welcomed but not required.
  • Experience building and leading pastry programs in high-performance kitchens.
  • A creative thinker with a classic foundation—able to blend technique with imagination.
  • Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through food.
  • Hands-on, humble, and inspiring to your team.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where expectations are sky-high.

What You’ll Get:

  • A rare opportunity to shape the relaunch of one of Miami’s most respected culinary brands.
  • Direct collaboration with a visionary owner who prioritizes quality above all else.
  • A creative runway to do career-defining work.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
