Now with over 300 locations across the U.S. and counting, were hitting the road with our first-ever Food Truck Operation in Dallas, TX, a mobile pizza kitchen, rolling billboard, and community connection hub all in one. Were looking for a high-energy leader who can run operations, drive sales, and be the face of our brand on the streets.

Role & Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

• Safely operate, drive, and maintain a fully equipped 24 Mountain Mikes Pizza food truck in compliance with all safety and brand standards.
• Oversee all daily truck operations: setup, cooking, service, and breakdown.
• Prepare, cook, and serve Mountain Mikes menu items to brand quality standards.
• Deliver Service the Way it Oughta Be, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction at every event.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate team members for top-tier hospitality.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and supplies to balance efficiency and waste control.
• Work closely and build a great relationship with the franchise owners.

Sales, Marketing & Community Outreach

• Serve as local brand ambassador, building strong relationships with community leaders, businesses, and event organizers.
• Aggressively pursue and secure high-impact events, corporate catering gigs, and community gatherings.
• Execute Local Restaurant Marketing (LRM) strategies to grow brand awareness and franchisee sales.
• Capture and share social media content from the trucks events in partnership with our marketing team.

Event Planning & Compliance

• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate all event details, logistics, and site requirements.
• Secure and maintain all permits, licenses, and insurance for operations.
• Ensure compliance with health codes, fire safety, and brand standards at all times.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid drivers license and an insurable Motor Vehicle Record (e.g., no major violations within the past 3 years); if hired from out of state, ability to obtain a TX license within a reasonable period per law.
• Commercial licensing/medical: CDL Class B is required only if GVWR 26,001 lbs. Drivers operating CMVs in interstate commerce must also meet DOT medical qualifications (MEC) and, where required by law, be at least 21 years of age. (The company will assist with training if applicable.)
• High-energy personality with strong communication and people skills.
• Food & beverage management experience, including hands-on food preparation.
• Proven ability in customer service, local marketing, and community networking.
• Organizational skills to manage operations, events, and promotions simultaneously.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in hot/cold conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% (regional and interstate).

Preferred:

• Prior food truck or mobile food operation management.
• Event booking, permitting, and logistics experience.
• Food Protection Manager certification (e.g., ServSafe or jurisdiction-approved equivalent) within 30 days of hire, and maintenance of any required local supervisory credentials.
• All employees must hold a valid, jurisdiction-appropriate Food Handler card (ANSI-accredited where recognized) for the state/city of operation.
• Full-time, Exempt: ~55 hours/week, including nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
• Travel: Primarily driving the food truck; occasional air travel.
• All travel expenses reimbursed per company policy.
• Some administrative work may be performed from home office or brand restaurants.
• All driving/on-duty time is scheduled and recorded in compliance with FMCSA Hours-of-Service rules where applicable.
• Base salary range: $70,000 $75,000 annually (actual pay based on experience and location). Eligible for performance bonus.
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; 401(k) with 4% match; Unlimited Paid Time Off (subject to company policy and in addition to any state/local mandated sick leave).
