FORTA ADMINISTRATOR

Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC (OTS) has a rich history of providing IT support and associated services in highly complex, highly regulated, highly secure environments, including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), law enforcement, health care, retail, and the casino gaming industry. We have an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) Wave 1, specifically advancing the solution for bringing the EITaaS IT Service Management offerings to SIPR.

We are currently seeking a Forta Administrator for an onsite position in Chantilly, VA.

The Forta Administrator is responsible for deploying, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining detection bots and supporting infrastructure on the Forta network. This individual ensures high availability, performance, and reliability of our bot operations while assisting engineering and security teams in scaling monitoring efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain detection bots on the Forta network
• Manage Forta node infrastructure (e.g., scan nodes, alert relays, API integrations)
• Ensure uptime and performance of deployed bots through monitoring and alerting
• Handle bot configuration, updates, version control, and CI/CD workflows
• Monitor gas costs, chain coverage, and bot execution statistics
• Assist in onboarding new detection bots and coordinating with Forta core contributors
• Coordinate alert routing into internal systems (e.g., Slack, PagerDuty, Splunk)
• Maintain documentation for bot operations, node management, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with Forta Engineers and security researchers to operationalize new detections

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or blockchain infrastructure administration
• Familiarity with Forta architecture, scan nodes, and agent deployment
• Experience with Linux systems, Docker, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Node.js
• Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to operational detail

• DoD 8140 compliance, CompTIA Security + or higher

• Must have Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying bots on the Forta network
• Familiarity with Forta CLI, Forta Explorer, and Alert API
• Exposure to security tooling and real-time detection systems
• Experience with message queue systems and alert forwarding (e.g., Kafka, Webhooks)
• Previous work in blockchain/crypto environments
