Join our team in our outpatient surgical office as LPN or Medical Assistant and enjoy a 4-day work week. Our outpatient surgical office features state-of-the-art technologies and has a collaborative team model approach, working closely together providing advanced patient care.

Position Purpose: Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Medical Assistants (MA) assist in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician.

Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days - M-Th 7:00am - 5:30pm

Qualifications

• LPN Candidates
• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
• Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
• MA Candidates
• High School or Equivalent
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Must meet one of the following three criteria:
• Has attended an accredited Medical Assistant training program by one of the following:
• The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
• If your Medical Assistant training program was not approved by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following. If needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification.
• National Healthcareers Association: CCMA
• American Medical Technologist: RMA
• American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA
• National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA
• American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
• Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
  

Work Requirements: Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day. Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances
