Your Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative paste components using inorganic powders for welding electrodes.
• Conduct research to enhance the performance and longevity of electrode coatings.
• Analyze data to optimize performance and material properties.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to streamline production processes.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges pertaining to inorganic powders in welding applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for welding electrode manufacturing.
• Prepare and document technical reports.
• Stay abreast of advancements in inorganic powder engineering and welding processes.
• Evaluate and enhance the flow properties of inorganic powders during extrusion.
• Implement improvements to the paste flow extrusion process.
• Monitor extrusion parameters for consistent quality and performance.
• Work closely with process engineers to boost extrusion operation efficiency.
• Maintain thorough records of work processes and results.
• Take on additional responsibilities as aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience for Level III or 8+ years for Level IV roles.
• Experience in inorganic powder development and processing, ideally within welding electrode production.
• Strong knowledge of powder properties and manufacturing techniques, including paste extrusion.
• Proficiency in engineering methodologies such as DOE, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Ceramics Engineering or related area.
• Experience with advanced inorganic powders for welding applications.
• Familiarity with welding industry standards and certifications.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or R&D setting focused on welding technology.
