Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Job Description

The Sanitation Worker will effectively clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds. This role requires adherence to food safety standards and proficiency in using plant touch screens while following CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures. The candidate must adhere to HAACP principles and demonstrate safe and proper use of cleaning tools.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all assigned areas, including equipment and machinery.

  • Adhere to food safety standards and HAACP principles.

  • Use plant touch screens and follow CIP procedures proficiently.

  • Demonstrate safe use of cleaning tools such as squeegees, mops, and brooms.

  • Understand and apply labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in sanitation, particularly in a GMP food processing facility.

  • Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and food manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to operate machinery and perform janitorial duties efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a sanitation role within a GMP food processing facility.

Work Environment

The site enforces a no-jewelry policy, including no lip or tongue rings and fake nails. Sanitation workers operate on the 1st shift, starting at 8 am, with potential flexibility to start at 7 am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
