As a Security Officer Front Desk in Mount Pleasant, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees at the location. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing access control, and verifying credentials to help to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize your customer service skills to provide a positive and professional experience for everyone entering the facility. This role involves using computer systems and/or tablets to monitor entry and exit activity, respond to inquiries, and maintain detailed logs. By remaining present and attentive at the front desk, you contribute to a secure environment while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the front desk location.
• Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Assist with communication and coordination during emergency response situations, following established protocols.
• Support a welcoming and professional environment by addressing inquiries and offering assistance to guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
