Job Description
A prominent financial services firm is seeking a fully remote Agile Scrum Lead to oversee multiple scrum teams focused on security and cloud software engineering initiatives. This role involves collaborating with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to enhance ongoing projects. Responsibilities include leading Scrum ceremonies, removing obstacles, and optimizing delivery using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Program Boards. The Scrum Master will track all project initiatives using Jira (Objectives, Features, Epics, Stories, Tasks) and generate data reports to identify trends and recommend performance improvements.
Responsibilities:
Guide and support a team of Scrum Masters to implement effective Scrum practices across various teams.
Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives), ensuring they are productive and adhere to time constraints.
Work with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is clearly defined, prioritized, and comprehensible to the team.
Address and resolve impediments and blockers to maintain a smooth workflow.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by promoting process enhancements.
Monitor and report key metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
Encourage a collaborative and transparent environment where team members feel empowered to share ideas and feedback.
Ensure compliance with agile principles and practices, providing coaching and training as necessary.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
Proven track record of independently leading agile teams, preferably with SAFe methodology.
Experience managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously, working with 8-10 scrum teams.
Strong conflict management skills, capable of facilitating constructive and challenging conversations to enhance team velocity.
Demonstrated accountability in previous roles, maintaining effective partnerships with technology and business stakeholders. Experience with AWS cloud services and products.
Background in information security/software engineering project/program management.
Experience in the financial industry.
SAFe Scrum (SSM) or equivalent Agile Scrum Master certification (CSM). null
