As the Volunteer and Donor Engagement Coordinator, you'll lead the development of a meaningful and well-managed volunteer program while playing a key role in cultivating relationships with donors who share our commitment to inclusion and impact. Your ability to stay organized, juggle priorities, and nurture people will ensure that our development and stewardship efforts continue to thrive.
This role blends creativity, community-building, and operational excellence. You'll collaborate across teams to support events, steward donors, and help tell the story of why Hand in Hand matters.
The ideal candidate is mission-minded, organized, has an eye for detail, and thrives on building strong relationships.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Required
GED or High school diploma.
6 months of relevant experience (fundraising, volunteer coordination, sales)
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Technology/Equipment
Ability to effectively and efficiently make use of technology such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. As well as the volunteer engagement software Bloomerang.
