Curated chapter by chapter, Stories Ranch Kitchen is a chef driven specialty restaurant with a focus on a farm-to-table dining experience inspired by the big cattle ranches and plentiful game of Central Texas, as well as the bounty of our region's farms. We are in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team at Stories Ranch Kitchen. As a Stories Server, you will be the storyteller of our culinary adventures, responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences in a timely manner and to the perfect temperature. You will gain in-depth menu knowledge and provide recommendations from our curated compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. This is a fast-paced position with constant customer interaction. Prior serving experience in a fine dining, specialty or chef driven restaurant is required for this role. Key Responsibilities: Engage with Guests: Greet and seat guests with a warm, friendly demeanor. Engage in casual conversation to enhance their dining experience. Menu Expertise: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of our menu and make thoughtful recommendations to guests. Order Management: Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen staff. Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring each dish is presented to perfection. Guest Satisfaction: Monitor and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Handle any complaints or concerns with professionalism and poise. Restaurant Preparation: Assist in general restaurant preparation and maintain a clean, sanitary environment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
